Your Mount Batur sunrise hike begins in the early hours (around 2:00–3:00 AM) with hotel pickup. After arriving at the base, you’ll be welcomed by a professional local trekking guide who will brief you before the ascent.
The hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Along the way, you’ll walk through volcanic rock trails, forest paths, and steep slopes. Once at the top, relax with a light breakfast and hot tea or coffee as the sky transforms into an ocean of colors.
